Obama’s No Nixon!

Worst President Ever!

A beleaguered (See WOW) president faced the press earlier this week to state that he should not be compared to President Richard Nixon.  For once we agree with you, Mr. Obama.  You don’t even come close!  President Nixon will be remembered as one of our greatest presidents, while you are already known as one of the worst, perhaps even The Worst!  (Move over Clinton and Carter!)

Nixon Was a Statesman

President Nixon was a true statesman with an incredible grasp of international issues and his policies and writings are still seen today as a roadmap to peace by world leaders.  You, unfortunately, are clueless when it comes to international affairs and could learn much from reading the works of President Nixon.  Richard Nixon believed in capitalism because he understood that it does the most good for the most people.  You, on the other hand, favor socialism and seem to have a compulsion to punish those who work hard and reward those who are lazy.  President Nixon believed in the exceptionalism of America.  You want to diminish the standing of American in the world.  President Nixon cherished the Constitution of the United States and worked to insure that it was applied equally to all American citizens.  You, on the other hand, have trampled the Constitution and have attempted to limit the liberties guaranteed to the American people by the Bill of Rights.

Not Even Close

Indeed, Richard Nixon had many lasting accomplishments during his five years as President.  You have had none in the same period of time.  No, you don’t even come close.  If only you had the decency to resign in the wake of the many outrageous scandals that now define your administration, we would all be better off.  Yes, you truly are the Worst President Ever (WPE)!

Mothers ARE Essential!

Happy Mother’s Day!

A prestigious national medical group, which purports to advocate for the welfare of children, has recently proclaimed in essence that mothers are not necessary.  We could not disagree more and believe that mothers are not only necessary, but they are essential…and fathers, too.  The best possible environment for nurturing a growing, developing child is a family with both a father and a mother.  It is difficult to comprehend how anyone concerned about children could be swayed by the ‘political cause de jour’ from advocating what is in the best interest of children.

Of course, there are situations where a single parent must raise a child alone and many do so in an admirable way, but common sense, the lessons of history and the conclusions of many learned individuals tell us that the best possible environment for children is the traditional family unit headed by both a father and a mother.  I cannot imagine what a different person I would be without both my mother or my father and I give thanks to God for having been blessed with such wonderful parents.  We salute all the wonderful mothers who sacrifice daily for the welfare of their children and their families and wish them all a Happy Mother’s Day!

“There is no love like a mother’s—she who carries the child that God knits in the womb, she who nourishes and guides, she who teaches and inspires, she who gives of her heart and soul and self for the good and happiness of her children and her family.”

Ronald Reagan, Mother’s Day Proclamation, April 28, 1987

Margaret Thatcher

Liberals Hate Conservatives

The appalling reaction of many leftists throughout the world to the passing of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher corroborates (see WOW) the observation that conservatives disagree with liberals, but liberals hate conservatives!  The vitriol spewing from the mouths of socialists actually celebrating the death of a fellow human being belies their phony mantra of love and caring for others.  In reality, they care only for themselves and, let’s face it, they didn’t like the late Prime Minister because she made them actually get up off their ‘rusty dusties’ and work for a living.

A Positive Lasting Impact

We congratulate Margaret Thatcher for resurrecting the British economy and for having the foresight to spare the United Kingdom from the current Euro Zone mess.  We are grateful to Margaret Thatcher, who along with President Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II, brought down the Evil Empire and liberated millions of people from the iron grip of the Soviet Union.  And finally, we salute Margaret Thatcher for being the first and only woman Prime Minister of The United Kingdom while at the same time fulfilling the important roles of wife and mother.  The life and accomplishments of Lady Thatcher will have a positive and lasting impact on the world and we are thankful to have been blessed by her brilliant intellect, her courageous leadership and her wonderful personality.

Senator Feinstein Reacts to Cold Water

“I’m Melting!  I’m Melting!”

The very Senior Senator Dianne Feinstein, Democrat of California (pardon the redundancy) reacted yesterday to having cold water thrown on her attempt to restrict the Second Amendment by banning assault weapons.  Her immediate response was ‘I’m melting!  I’m melting!’, or words to that effect.  Even other Senate Democrats knew her attack on the Constitution could not be sustained.  Her bill began to unravel when she was unable to answer pertinent questions from Texas Senator Ted Cruz about the Bill of Rights.  For once, however, we agree with Mrs. Feinstein.  She definitely does not look like a sixth grader!  But she certainly acted like a sixth grader when she threw a temper tantrum to avoid having to explain the hypocrisy of her bill.  If ever there was a case for term limits this is it!  Kansas is looking better all the time.
