My Thoughts After Attending the Pussy March

          Today I thought I’d go down to see what was happening at the 2018 Women’s March at our local city park.  There were easily several thousand folks there representing the hard core left of a very large liberal county.  I was happy to see a few American flags there and I stood proudly with my hand over my heart as we all sang the Star Spangled Banner together.  But that was where our similarities ended.  As you might expect, the attendees were mostly women and many of them were holding signs almost all of which parroted messages from the liberal press talking points…nothing about actual issues, but just about their personal hate for our president.  In fact, I have never seen so much hate in one place in my life.  There were no signs protesting the move of our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem or our withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord, no condemnation of our bombing of Syria, no complaints about the new tax cuts or anything about health care or immigration reform.  OK, maybe one pro-abortion sign and one against ‘The Wall’.  Other than that, it was all about hating President Trump…and this, from the same women who worship Bill Clinton.  It was pretty pathetic to see a group of single, frustrated old maids and divorcees who are so envious of our First Lady, Melania!

          I was able to engage a few folks in conversation and was surprised to find how little they actually knew about the issues.  When I mentioned some of the major accomplishments that President Trump has had in his first year some of them conceded that there were some positive changes and stated that perhaps they didn’t disagree with me as much as they thought.  One young lady was wearing a sweatshirt with a picture of Angela Davis on it.  I asked her, ‘Is that Angela Davis?’  She looked at her mother as if to say, ‘Is it?’  When her mother replied ‘Yes’, I said ‘Isn’t Angela Davis a communist?’  The young lady again looked at her mother for the answer, which of course was ‘Yes’.  This mother/daughter pair are typical of the far left who know little about the issues and less about why they are ‘resisting’ other than that they hate President Trump.  If you ask me, I think they hate him because he stands for everything that is good about America and because he has been so successful at Making America Great Again!

A Great Year for America

2017 Has Been a Great Year for America

          As 2017 comes to a close, let’s look back at what a truly remarkable year this has been for America.  The election of Donald Trump as President of the United States has brought many great things for our country.  Since his inauguration last January the economy has boomed and the Bush-Obama Depression is finally over.  By cutting regulations, decreasing corporate tax rates, and eviscerating Obama’s socialized medicine program, we have seen unprecedented improvements in the economy.  The unemployment rate is at record lows, the economy has grown, the stock market has gained 5,000 points in one year for the first time ever and this stronger economy has been able to withstand upward corrections in the prime interest rate.  Illegal immigration has decreased considerably.  Our military has gained strength.  Societal norms have been reestablished and the chilling effect of ‘political correctness’ on free speech has been stifled.  And ISIS, which flourished under Obama, has been wiped from the map.  Our allies respect us and the United Nations no longer holds sway over how we conduct foreign policy, as seen by President Trump’s bold and sensible decision to recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.  What an amazing year for America!

The Agenda for 2018

          There is much to be done in the next year in the quest to Make America Great Again.  First and foremost, Trump must correct the one misstep of his first year…the appointment of Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.  This poor choice ended up as a double whammy for our country…a do-nothing Attorney General plus the loss of the Alabama senate seat.  Sessions must be replaced with a dynamic legal expert like Congressman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina.  Next, the wall along our southern border must be built, chain migration must be ended and limits and strict controls must be placed on immigration in general.  It would be a perfect compromise to allow the ‘Dreamers’ to stay (DACA) in exchange for these immigration reforms, but don’t hold your breath hoping that the Democrats will agree to that.  Speaking of Democrats, we, as Americans, must recognize and come to terms with the fact that there is a large, pervasive and well-organized Socialist/Marxist/Communist movement afoot determined to bring our great country down.  We must deal with this swiftly and decisively, beginning with putting an end to the indoctrination of children in our public schools and institutions of higher learning.  Finally, by year’s end we must show a decrease in the national debt.  If we can do all these things, America truly will be great again and Donald Trump will go down in history as one of our greatest presidents.

Perverts and Prostitutes

          It seems that women are coming out of the woodwork these days accusing men of sexual harassment or abuse.  Even poor old wheelchair-bound President George H.W. Bush is not immune.  Men who actually do commit these acts are disgusting, criminal perverts.  But if a woman is a victim of such an act and remains quiet about it so that she can advance her career in Hollywood or in Washington, in a sense she is being compensated for her trouble.  Isn’t that the very definition of a prostitute?  Getting paid when a man has his way you?  I don’t know.  Just asking.  It seems to me that in some of these cases it’s a little late to be complaining.  If you are a victim of abuse or harassment you should report it immediately!

Why Is There So Much Violence in Our Country?

Guns Are Not the Cause of the Increase in Violence

          We are all asking the same question after the horrific mass murder that took place in Las Vegas last week.  Why have there been so many violent incidents in our country in recent years?  It can’t be the availability of guns.  The Second Amendment has been around since the Bill of Rights was ratified in 1791 ensuring ‘the right of the people to keep and bear arms’.  In all the years since, we never had a problem like this.  So what then has changed in recent years that has led to this tragic turn of events?

The Liberal Agenda Has Led to the Increase in Violence

          The answer is as plain as the nose on the Democrat donkey’s face.  The very ones who are so quick to blame guns for the increase in violence are themselves to blame.  It is the social changes instigated by the leftists that have unleashed the evil that has always existed in some people, allowing it to express itself.  If there were no guns in the United States, these evil creatures would instead use knives, bombs and vehicles as they do in countries where guns are outlawed.

The Reasons for the Increase in Violence

          The reasons for the increase in violence constitute a veritable list of liberal talking points!

-The war on faith and Christianity, in particular, disconnecting people from a higher power and removing meaningfulness from their lives

-The devaluation of life as evidenced by the normalization of killing babies

-The systematic dissolution of the family unit brought on by the sexual revolution and the mockery made of marriage by the inexplicably powerful LGBT political lobby 

-The normalization of drug use, most notably by the legalization of marijuana

-The generations of fragile, self-centered narcissists cultivated by inadequate parents and teachers
